Companies can find Kombers for shift work through Komba application for companies (desktop and soon mobile):

  1. In Komba desktop app, the responsible person of the company creates a main user account for the company and adds locations and their managers.
  2. Both the main user and location managers can then:
  • post shifts
  • accept applications from selected candidates
  • pay for the shifts worked
  • evaluate Komber

In the main user account, select ‘send email’ and Komba will inform the location managers about the Komba app, along with a short guide to the features that Komba offers.

All the features available to location managers are equally available to the main user, through the desktop (and soon also mobile) versions of Komba for companies.

The main user is provided with a dashboard for all locations displaying all needed information about shifts, Kombers, payments, ratings, etc.

To open a Komba account for companies, the following is required:

  • Company name and OIB
  • Name and address of locations
  • Emails of location managers

Profile and account

Company’s dashboard provides a detailed overview to location managers for their location and main user account for all locations.

Both main user and location managers can:

a) manage shifts:

  1. published and worked shifts and their time

  3. number of Kombers in total and per shift – during a specified time frame

b) manage Kombers

Shift publishing

By selecting the ‘new shift’ option, a form opens to fill the following:

  • shift name
  • shift description (the best rated Kombers will choose a well described shift)
  • location and photo of the location
  • shift time
  • the category and subcategory of the type of job that is requested for the shift
  • necessary skills and specific requirements, if any
  • how many Kombers are needed for a shift
  • the rate offered for the shift
  • the deadline in which Komber can cancel the shift

As long as Komber has not been accepted for the shift, it is possible to go back and edit the shift info.

If this happens, both users see the posted shift and can always delete one.

As long as the company is not late in paying bills for previously worked shifts, there is no limit.

Choosing Kombers

When a company publishes a shift, interested Kombers apply.

Companies can see all applications in the profile dashboard within the ‘Applications’ option.

The order of the applications is chronological, that is, according to the time of application.

Overview shows the candidate’s average rating, punctuality rating and rating for fulfilling special requirements.

In the application details, Kombers also offer a brief overview of experience, skills and personal characteristics.

Companies can choose Kombers according to their own criteria; order of applications, average rating or any other relevant criteria.

Kombers have the option to negotiate the offered rate for the shift. When applying for a shift, Komber may ask a different amount, which companies may or may not accept.

As long as the company is not late in paying bills for previously worked shifts, there is no limit.

Ratings

After the completed shift, the shift overview in profile dashboard contains a list with the names of Kombers and the type of shift they worked. Companies rate Kombers according to the necessary skills required for the shift, punctuality and specified special requirements.

Rating Kombers encourages competitiveness and provides other companies with information about the quality of Komber.

Location manager rates Kombers for the shift worked at that location.

Although we believe that this will not happen, as Komba regularly reminds Kombers of their obligations, the shift will still be available to the company for rating. The company will be able to rate the Komber who canceled too late or did not show up for the shift.

Companies can give Komber a bad rating or file a complaint against a Komber in case of breach of a contract defined in Terms&Conditions, but the agreed rate for the shift worked must be paid.

Complaint

Companies can file a complaint against Komber in case of breach of a contract defined in Terms&Conditions.

The “review” template offers an option to enter complaint. The complaint must be described in detail. It is possible to enter image files too. After filing a complaint, the company will be contacted by Komba’s support with a solution to the complaint as soon as possible.

Payment

In the Profile dashboard – Finance, there is an overview of all shifts with the associated statuses.

Shifts that need to be paid have the status ‘need to pay‘. They can be selected to pay all at once or one at a time.

By selecting the shift, and proceeding to payment, there is a summary of the shift and the amount to pay.

The payment is then confirmed by selecting the ‘Pay’ option.
